CMU officially launched the Metro21 Smart Cities Institute, a campus-wide academic center that will address the complex and novel challenges facing metro areas in the 21st century. The Institute will build on the exciting momentum that has already come out of Metro21; work that is at the forefront of Smart Cities research, development, and deployment. The launch event featured impactful presentations and panel discussions centered on Metro21’s potential and plans for the future.
